Postponement of MJS 2012 dates owing to the requests from the industry

The recent developments pertaining to imposing of Excise Duty on unbranded jewellery has caught the industry completely unaware. The current situation has distressed the industry and has proved to be a great distraction which has resulted in fall of production. In the wake of the current situation, several exhibitors and key trade visitors who have registered to visit the show to MJS 2012 requested to consider the change of trade show dates.

Hence after careful deliberation and discussions, the committee members of Madurai Jewellers and Bullion Merchants Association, have advised us to reschedule the dates and accordingly WE HAVE RESCHULED THE DATES FROM 13 TO 15 APRIL 2012 TO 20 – 22 JULY 2012 AND AT THE SAME VENUE.

The new dates provide better business opportunity as it will now held in the Tamil month of “Aadi” as the marriage and festival season ensue after this Tamil month.
